Teaching is an integral part of my studio practice. I enjoy working with students of all ages and skill levels. My workshops are built around understanding aesthetics—i.e. proportions, color theory, etc., making strong functional pots at low fire temperatures, creative problem solving in the studio, and discussions of marketing, social media, and the changing landscape of contemporary craft. Workshop attendees will leave recharged, rejuvenated, and ready to grow in their own studio practice. I’ve taught over 130 workshops or lectures in Australia, Canada, China, New Zealand, and the United States. I’d love to teach with your organization so please contact me if you are interested in arranging a workshop.
