Quilt Jug

120.00

This form was traditionally made to store homemade moonshine, which was actively traded and consumed from inland Appalachia to the coastal South. Now the jug makes a fantastic display piece and conversation starter. The hand decorated floral pattern is influenced by fabric patterns used in quilts. This pot is made from a dense earthenware clay. It is dishwasher/microwave safe and ready for daily use. 10.5 x 7 x 7 in.
