"If it was a snake it would have bitten you" Jug

95.00

This form was traditionally made to store homemade moonshine, which was actively traded and consumed from inland Appalachia to the coastal South. Now the jug makes a fantastic display piece and conversation starter. The hand-painted snake and kudzu decoration reference a saying my grandmother used to tell me, “If it was a snake it would’ve bitten you.” It's a great reminder to keep your eyes open and pay attention to the world around you.

This pot is made from a dense earthenware clay. It is dishwasher/microwave safe and ready for daily use.
